Grinding Grain, The Easy Way...

Hello everyone,

The subject that I would like to talk about today is that of GRINDING your own GRAIN.  Many people think that it is just too expensive to buy a grain grinder and too time consuming to use it, and they find themselves wasteing their money and resources on store-bought products.  However, the truth of the matter is that grinding your own grain for breads, hot cereal, and other foods simply couldn't be easier.  Most people do not know that a simple inexpensive electric Coffee Grinder works pretty much as well as any regular grain grinder.  And, cleanup is much easier too.  What we do is buy our grain whole and in bulk 25# or 50# bags, store it in airtight jars, and grind it as we need it....the same way that one would grind Coffee Beans -only our grinder is devoted to grain.  The flour that is the end result is usually a little more coarse than what some people are used to, but it makes delicious breads, hot cereals and other things.  It normally has the texture of cornmeal.  The recipes that can be used with this flour are endless.

If you like this post, please comment...and, if you would also like some recipes...we can give you some...free for the asking.

Shalom
