Do you hate the junk mail and advertisements that come in your mailbox?? I used to hate it too...but, not any more. I save approximately .04 cents to .05 cents every time I repurpose and reuse the return envelopes sent by advertisers -you know...those ones with a clear window that are blank, that most people throw away. I simply use a written on paper inside or outside to cover the blank plastic area with the address that I want to send it to. Then I apply a stamp, and viola, I save by using it for mailing instead of a regular envelope. One does have to be careful of barcoding -however. It is best, that if your envelope has a barcode, to blot it out with a magic marker, or your mail may not get to where you want it to. This may sound "cheap"...but, who was it that said, "a penny saved is a penny earned..."?? Benjamin Franklin, I think.
